AKFIF KWARA STATE: A RADIANT REFLECTION OF LOVE GROWTH, AND SERVICE.

The atmosphere in Ilorin, Kwara State, was filled with joy, gratitude, and a strong sense of purpose as members of the Adenike Kayode Fabunmi International Foundation (AKFIF) gathered for a heartfelt thanksgiving celebration. The event, held at RCCG Fountain of Life Parish, brought together passionate volunteers and dedicated members who have continually made AKFIF Kwara a beacon of light and love. This chapter proudly holds the honour of being the very first state outside the head office in Ondo State to organize a December outreach, a legacy that continues to speak of commitment, courage, and compassion.

On this special day, the church was radiant with the presence of cheerful faces, colorful attires, and hearts lifted in thanksgiving. Members marched into the venue holding placards that boldly displayed powerful words such as “Love,” “Peace,” “Growth,” “Unity,” and “Hope” a reflection of the values that AKFIF has consistently stood for since inception. These placards were more than just decorations; they were messages to the world  that this is a foundation built on love and rooted in service.

Pastor Mrs. Kayode Yemi Veronica, the passionate and visionary State Coordinator, gave a soul-stirring speech during the event. Her words were full of conviction and warmth as she reminded everyone of the reason AKFIF exists. She spoke about love — not as a feeling, but as a commitment to give, to serve, and to uplift others. She declared that when love leads, everything else follows, and emphasized that the work of AKFIF is a reflection of God’s heartbeat on earth. Her message echoed deeply in the hearts of everyone present, reminding them of the importance of unity and genuine care for humanity.

After the thanksgiving prayers and blessings, members transitioned into a beautiful love feast, where they dined, laughed, danced, and exchanged gifts. The atmosphere was one of celebration and deep fellowship. It wasn’t just a gathering; it was a family reunion. Members shared delicious meals, clinked glasses in cheer, and embraced one another with heartfelt warmth. Gifts were exchanged as a token of appreciation and love, reminding everyone that the strength of AKFIF lies in the bond they share.

As music filled the air, members danced freely and joyfully, radiating the joy that comes from purposeful service. Their smiles, their energy, their unity — all testified to the deep connection they share through the foundation. It was clear that what binds them is not just a common mission, but a deep-rooted love for humanity and one another.

AKFIF Kwara has truly continued to blaze a trail  not just as the first outreach host outside the head office, but as a family that has grown stronger with every project, every prayer, and every act of kindness. Their celebration was more than a ceremony; it was a reminder that love, when put into action, can change lives and communities.

From the symbolic placards to the powerful sermon, the joyful dancing to the meaningful gift exchange, the thanksgiving celebration of AKFIF Kwara was a resounding success  a celebration of what has been done and a prophecy of even greater things to come. AKFIF Kwara remains a shining light  a voice of hope, a vessel of peace, and a family of love.
