
On the 21st of December, the Adenike Kayode Fabunmi International Foundation (AKFIF) held a remarkable celebration and awards ceremony in Ogun State, bringing an exciting close to a year of impactful activities. This annual event gathered AKFIF members from across the country to reflect on the progress made, enjoy each other’s company, and honor individuals who have shown unwavering commitment to the foundation’s mission.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Abayomi Faduyilemi, representing Mrs. Adenike Fabunmi, the convener of the foundation. Mr. Faduyilemi delivered a captivating address that left a lasting impression on everyone present. He emphasized the importance of unity within the AKFIF family, urging members to continue supporting the foundation’s mission and vision. His speech was not only motivating but also a call to action, reminding everyone of their collective responsibility in building a stronger future for the foundation.

Mr. Abayomi extended heartfelt appreciation to the leaders and members who have been key to the foundation’s success. He recognized the tireless efforts of the Ogun State community and all members for their unwavering support since the outreach program began on December 18th. This year’s outreach was particularly special due to the introduction of innovative programs such as the Children’s Christmas Party, exhibitions, evangelism, and more, designed to bring more joy and engagement to the community.

The event also highlighted the foundation’s achievements over the past year, with Mr. Abayomi listing the remarkable strides made in service to the community. He assured everyone that the best is yet to come, with more impactful projects planned for the future.
A significant milestone for the foundation was the appointment of Mrs. Adedokun Opeyemi as the new Secretary for Ogun State. Mrs. Opeyemi will assist Mrs. Olubunmi, the Ogun State Coordinator, in advancing the foundation’s activities in the region. Additionally, all appointed leaders were recognized for their exceptional service, and prayers were offered for continued success and guidance.
The program was a resounding success, made possible by the full participation and support of both physical and virtual members. As a token of appreciation, Christmas packages were distributed to members, ensuring that everyone felt valued and celebrated during this festive season.
